International Women’s Day: Celebrating the Women Shaping Our Company and the Future of AI

International Women’s Day is an opportunity to recognise the women whose expertise and perspective strengthen our organisation every day. Their impact is evident across every part of the business, including how we adopt and advance the use of AI.

This year, we’re highlighting the women who are driving meaningful change by exploring new tools, expanding their capabilities, and helping us understand what responsible and effective AI enabled work can look like.

Women Leading the Way in AI Adoption

Across the company, our team is integrating AI into their work in ways that improve efficiency, creativity, and collaboration. When we asked them how they’re approaching these tools, three clear patterns emerged.

Freeing up time for what matters

Several women on our team use AI to handle repetitive work; summarizing long email threads into clear insights, optimizing written content, addressing noncritical problems quickly. This isn’t automation for its own sake. It’s a deliberate choice to reclaim time spent on busywork so they can focus on collaboration and expertise that requires human insight. As one colleague put it: the goal is to spend less time on tasks that don’t need her expertise, and more time on the work that does.

Building at scale

Others are thinking bigger; experimenting with AI to move beyond isolated pilots toward integrated, intelligent systems that create real value. This requires a different kind of leadership: the ability to see potential while staying grounded in what’s actually needed. It’s about asking not just “can we build this?” but “should we, and how do we do it responsibly?”

Learning and bridging knowledge gaps
And some are using AI as a learning tool; to understand areas outside their expertise, ask better questions, and grasp use cases they might otherwise find opaque. Whether it’s navigating legal and privacy considerations or getting unstuck on a technical problem, they’re using AI to expand their own knowledge and make more informed decisions.

What ties these approaches together isn’t the specific tool or task, it’s the intentionality. Our team isn’t adopting AI because it’s trendy. They’re adopting it because they’ve thought carefully about where it adds value and where human judgment still needs to lead.

Representation in AI Matters

As AI continues to redefine our industry, diverse voices are essential. When women help shape how AI is adopted and governed, our solutions become more inclusive, more thoughtful, and better aligned with real-world needs.

Across our organisation, women are:

  • guiding AI strategy and adoption
  • influencing how teams work with new tools
  • raising important questions about ethics and fairness
  • advocating for responsible innovation

Their contributions are making our company stronger.

Supporting the Next Generation of Talent

We remain committed to creating pathways for women to grow, lead, and thrive. This includes:

  • AI and technology training opportunities
  • mentorship programmes
  • leadership development initiatives
  • supportive spaces to experiment, learn, and ask questions
A Future Built Together

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who drive things forward; through their expertise, their insight, and their leadership. Their work shapes not only our present but the ethical, innovative, and inclusive future we’re building with AI.

Sidenote: We love our male colleagues too; they’re part of what makes us strong. Today is simply their turn to cheer from the sidelines while we celebrate the women leading the way.
