Female Tech Leader of the year 2025

Each year, CoGig organizes Female Tech Engineer, a prestigious talent program designed to connect female engineering students with Sweden’s leading tech and digitalization companies. The program offers students in their fourth or fifth year of studies a unique opportunity to explore their technical interests while building a strong professional network for the future.

This year, Deerdata’s CEO, Josefine, was honored to be part of the event—not just as a guest, but as an inspirational speaker, sharing her journey from young award recipient to tech entrepreneur.

18 years ago, she stood on this very stage, receiving the Future Female Leader award. This year, she returned to celebrate the incredible women who are shaping the future of the industry.

Walking into the event, she had a plan: to talk about karma, networking, and the importance of content—perhaps even share a few pitfalls. But sitting in the taxi just moments before stepping on stage, she realized something important. That wasn’t the message that mattered most.

Instead, she asked herself: What would I have truly wanted to hear, standing there 18 years ago?

And the answer was simple:
Anything is possible. You got this.

That’s the message more women need to hear. To find their inner spark, to believe in themselves, their ideas, and their abilities. Just like Josefine did with Deerdata—turning an idea into reality, recognizing her own potential, and proving to herself that she could.

A huge congratulations to all the incredible finalists and this year’s winner, Agnes Inglot. Their journeys are just beginning, and the future is theirs to shape!

We extend our gratitude to CoGig, Female Technical Engineer, Lena Larsson, Josefin Antoun, Madelen Porserud, and many more for their dedication to fostering talent. A special thank you to Stephanie Darvill for leading the conversation so brilliantly, and to everyone who continues to push boundaries and inspire the next generation of leaders.

🚀 Here’s to more women in tech, more fearless leadership, and more full-circle moments!
